BRAND PHILOSOPHY

Overshade Collective exists for the nightlife. Our brand represents the people who live outside the norm. We focus on eyewear and fashion that reflect this culture.

Our goal is simple, to provide sunglasses and clothing rooted in streetwear, inspired by raving and nightlife. We see sunglasses not as a side accessory but as the core of the fit. Every product we make starts with intention.

ORIGINS

Overshade Collective was started by Ian and Kim. The idea came together in Melbourne, where our first exposure to nightlife and rave culture shaped how we saw fashion.

We launched with sunglasses designed to be worn after dark. That was our entry point. Over time, we wanted Overshade to become more than just a fashion label. We want it to represent what we saw in nightlife.

MOVING FORWARD

Overshade is a sunglasses-first streetwear label. Sunglasses will always be our foundation, built around a three-tier model:

  • boundary-pushing designs
  • partner drops with other creatives
  • accessible designs made for everyday wear

Our clothing releasing some time soon, will also follow a similar mindset. experimental capsules for statement pieces, and staple capsules for everyday deconstructed styles.

Both made for tropical climates.
Both inspired by rave culture.
